Often more times then once I catch myself whipping out the ole razor blade inside customers houses thinking the windows didn’t have the tint. Sometimes it is that window seal stuff they put over the glass to keep the windows insulated. Anyway, we should try to train ourselves to install window film and create upsell for that. It may take a little time learning but, how did we learn how to clean windows to start this business? I messed up one window in a resturant but fixed it but was not the same color tint. Learning from our experiences makes us better.

If a customer has tinted glass, I make a notation on my estimate sheet and highlight it in yellow. I carry this sheet to each job. I have also had to leave my razor and wool in the truck in case I forget. It becomes so automatic to pull out my razor or wool!!
