My new referral system

Thats true… My approach is to try to make it seem very effortless while also letting them know how greatly they are helping me out.

“Would you mind leaving a short, little review maybe just one or two sentences of what you thought of our service? It really, really helps our business grow.”

I try to talk to the customer as much as possible and get to know them, their family and talk about similar interests that I can find. By the end of the job they feel like I’m their friend and don’t mind helping me their new friend by leaving a quick review.

Possibly.
I’ve tried a few different ways with no success.

I’m not giving any discounts for a review thats out for me. If that’s what
gets people to pull the trigger, then I’ll just do without them I think

Other than asking for one I’m not sure how else to get them.

Yeah, that would work if those types of businesses were my clients but they aren’t. It’s commercial work mainly. I was told once that its a conflict of interest and just a no no to do that because my clients are supposed to get competitive bids every year when they do their budgets.

If they were to go public and write a review on a vendor? In their world its kinda unprofessional. I don’t know how else to explain it.

But I’m also talking about the residential side. I’ve only gotton maybe 10 or under in eleven years, and google trash canned some of those. One was my mom tho I think, I would’ve canned her too.

Anyhow, good work on the reviews man. You ain’t no follower thats for sure. Nice to see, and I’m interested in what you will do in the next few years. Well done.

Do you email or text them links to the review?
