Glad i got one too. It was actually very annoying to use at first and occasionally still causes some frustration, but once i adjusted it to the right sensitivity, it got much better.

Did you have to mess with the tightness to get it to perform well too?

Since I’ve never actually tried one of these it looks like you can’t apply pressure.

Is this correct?

i use side2side. improved power speed and control, ability to lock in fixed but i’ve never used that feature.

Like Ken, I of course use Side2Side. When designed the crucial point was to have the pivot point as close to the brush as possible to ensure that it didn’t jackknife under pressure. Gardiner now have one available also which although I have not used, has much improved ergonomics over the one above.

I never use it at 3 storeys and above. I lock it off. Anything below that is fine but as always body position and correct useage is paramount…and I never use in with a gooseneck extension.

I use the gardiner swivel. Good movement and doesn’t seem to want to jackknife too easily. Quick loq end.

I do wish it had a method to lock it into place if desired. Just have to keep the screw tightened so it doesn’t flop.

We also have swivel movement attachment for water fed brushes as well.
That addresses all the problems other swivel type movements have on water fed brushes.

Of cause you could use an old Wagtail handle .
Make yourself a swivel with that like in the video.
