More Wagtail Action

Thanks guys,

The video really doesn’t show how to get the scrubber part to scrub the window when you’re using a pole though. Gravity keeps pulling the scrubber part down.

I tried tilting it to one side, but it didn’t work very well. Maybe I just need some more practice.

I store my wagtail with the scrubber over the rubber. You know the old braking in the baseball mitt trick, it helps when using it on a pole.

Ok, so this is my first ever video. As you can tell, I just sat the camera on the hood of the truck, that’s why it’s crooked. I’m not sure why the camera did not keep filming either… but at least you can see me finish 1 window.

This was my first job with the Flipper. I like it. It’s pretty interesting. The trick to getting the scrubber to be in the right position while using a pole is to start with the Flipper upside down.

I have a few concerns with the Wagtail. Anyone been using one for a long time? With all the plastic, I wonder how it would stand up to constant use?

Since the scrub pad is below the rubber, can the top of the windows be cleaned using the flipper? Any long time users care to respond?

The wagtail channel is made of aluminium but the swivel part and handle are made of plastic.

I’ve been using mine every day for a good few months now with no problems as regards wear and tear.

The video above demonstrates well the way to use the flipper pad. Rather than trying to ‘flip’ it back in the air (and splash water in your face) turn the flipper upside down and gravity will make it drop then lift it to the window and turn it whilst its on the window. With practice you can swing the pole up to the window without the flipper pad falling down.
