We are putting down 4x8 over the stupid sheet rock at the very top.
If you want to carry an 4x8 3/4 up a 60 foot ladder have at it.
Quicker with a lift and much safer!

I did this job half a dozen times, years agoâŚThe plywood is to walk on because the building design is fucked. I believe they boxed in duct work with drywall, which makes accessing the top rows of glass, for about 1/3 of the atrium, damn near impossible, so you either walk on it, or it doesnât get done. First time I did it, long before I started my business, we had no idea it wasnât safe to walk on and actually put up a step ladder and one of the legs went through. Four stories up, thatâs scary shit.
