Moerman fliq pad

im getting better and more used too my moerman accelerator but sometimes the fliq pad gets bound up under the channel in the center.

is there a way to fix that? been using it on a pole with pad on top

Just keep using it and it will soften up. The rigidity is a good thing but it needs some breaking in.

With the many video’s for these I have never seen anybody wet this.

Seems as it would be a little awkward or difficult, sloppy possibly?

been using it on a pole so its easy to dunk without dunking the whole thing. some use a bottle to wet pad.

pad does hold a lot of water though.

i followed others advise and added bead of soap to pad and my mop instead of more to bucket

I just washed mine whenever it was filthy and used it like normal. Didn’t take but a week or two to loosen up if I recall correctly

I use a squirt bottle or dunk the Fliq pad just like a sleeve no difference. It’s not awkward or sloppy.

The Fliq pad is a time saver.

we wash them not to help it along but because we wash all of our mops and towels at the end of the day

Both my 14" and 18" Fliq’s did that when brand new. The 14" stopped doing it fairly quickly, but my 18" does it to this day (approx. year later).

The 18" appears to have some sort of metal bar inside the pad, presumably for weight to help it get over the top. It catches often. The 14" is smaller and lighter, so doesn’t have this.

BTW, if you get good with the 14" Excelerator after about six months to a year, re-visit your 18" Excelerator. When I first used it, I found it troublesome and sticky on the turns. But after mastering the 14", a year later, I decided to pull the 18" out and give it a try, and I’m glad I did. It was my technique. Once my technique improved, I found the 18" a breeze to use on big windows. You can conquer the 18" Excelerator!
