Lol…not a Cubs fan (actually don’t really follow baseball anymore), but cool to see. I grew up in a small town in Indiana 90 miles from Chicago. So Cubs and White Sox games were always on. I watched them both but grew up liking the Sox better. When I was younger I didn’t care for for Indians as they were in the same division as the Sox.
I tell my wife every year, baseball players have one job: Keep me entertained as deep into October as possible. My Cardinals bailed early, but the playoffs were great and got me all the way to November.
Now the long cold winter 
Nice. I’m a Cardinals fan living in Iowa and there are fireworks going off outside.
But most of my friends are Cubs fans, and I’m really happy for them.

I’m afraid I’m going to start hating the economics of baseball again in a few weeks. It was a short but fun run and pennants fly forever. 2018 and '19 are going to be awful for Royals fans, but I’ll hang in there. I have ticket stubs from 100-loss seasons in the past.
Cain will be overpaid by somebody and will be frequently injured over the next few seasons. He is great when he is healthy, but his legs are suspect. I hope we figure out how to keep Moose & Hosmer, but I doubt it. Both are having breakout years at a good time for them. Someone will throw $90-100M at Hosmer and make it impossible for KC to afford him.
We went to a Royals game this past weekend. Watched them beat the Twins Saturday night.
