Legend Squeegee Channel

Just saw these channels on Facebook and it looks like the wide body channel with angled ends that I’ve been waiting on! Looks like a brand new item from Canada.

If you search Legend Squeegee Channel on youtube you can find it.

Dumb question would you cut your rubber to match the angle? Or leave the rubber a straight 90 degrees?

if you do not cut the rubber it will work on some windows but not others depending on the frame.

I’ve got diy modified brass Ettore channels and I cut off the bottom half of the extra rubber at an angle and cut the top portion vertically, with no angle.

This looks pretty cool. Ive been experimenting with ettore super channels and my biggest issue is the rubber riding up over the the edge of shallow frames. Would this design help prevent that? Does it work with standard round bottom rubbers?

Edit: just watched the video and it answers my questions? Are these available in the U.S.?

match the original cut of the rubber supplied.

Not available from a US Distributor yet as far as I can see. I went ahead and ordered an 18", 14" & 12" from Mark at the Window Cleaning Store and the shipping wasn’t that bad at $16 or so to NC. When I first saw them I knew I had to give them a try.

Does it work with the official unger ninja handle or the home depot version?

I think the biggest appeal for me is that they take standard round rubber. The angled cut could be done pretty easily on any wide body channel.

I’ve never seen any handles for wide bodied channels at Home Depot or lowes. The articulated handle that kinda looks like it’s molded after the ninja sold at Home Depot is for standard channels, to the best of my knowledge :grimacing:(Which is scant)

Works with the proper Unger Ninja handle and sorbo/super channel handles.

it’s a wide body channel, home depot does not carry wide body stuff however…
i was able to fit mine into a home depot unger handle. the angle of the blade ends up different though because it’s not designed for it.

@Beautiful_View Are you producing these channels or just distributing them? I’m going to order some next week.

Manufactured in Quebec and I’m distributing them.

i assumed you were private labelling

Me and the manufacturer WCS out of Quebec are both selling them. They came up with Legend. I love the look. I don’t believe they are interested in selling outside of Canada but I regularly ship to the US. They’re happy, I’m happy.

Nice. Are these replacing the “Squidgee” channels you sell made from the same guys?
