Is that a corgi? Jk

Yes, he is eyeing a corgi, how did you know?

Do you know spreadsheets? Or graphics programs?

For all commercial accounts I would ALWAYS send the quote via email I would never provide them with a written quote, it just doesnā€™t look professional imo.(Remember storefront is NOT commercial)
And the written reply of there accepting the quote is as good as a contract in a court.
as for residential I use similar to what you use, however on the bottom of mine is a * with the conditions how they are limited to general window cleaning only and does not cover the removal of construction debris including but not limited to paint, silicone and concrete or the removal of hard water stainingā€¦
I just write a note in my diary of the quote location, job to be done and quote price, so if or when they call to book in I have those details.

Ya know, for me, I use Q.Bā€™s on my laptop. Iā€™ve never given a paper estimate. EVERY person asking for a quote, literally has had an email, with the exception of ONE person. For them, I texted the quote.

I do use a ā€œworksheetā€ for residential, but the client never sees it. It for me to figure out price, add ons, ladder set fees, PIA fees, and a place at the bottom for total prices and customer info. Just implemented those this year. I was just using a note book.

Yeah mine is basically just a tally of the windows and other stuff. Customers only get the bottom line on paper.

Iā€™ve been figuring all this out tooā€¦
I had to look at all the free forms I could find, take notes on what I did and didnā€™t like or need til I had a good idea of what I wanted. And I donā€™t know how to get all those friggin graph and bubble thingies in there either, so I used Word with lines for now til I figure it out. Donā€™t worry man, you will. Itā€™s just a learning curve. I KNOW how frustrating it is ā€¦ But until then ā€¦ NO whining  If you couldnā€™t handle it you never would have started this business in the first place ā€¦

It always all about you :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Iā€™m glad to see this. Good job !!

Thatā€™s why I donā€™t put up a price list anywhere.

Also when someone calls me an says , " how much do you get per window".
I know there price shopping. Iā€™m not your guy

Many homes here have funky architecture. So itā€™s hard to say x windows for z dollars. Sometimes you have no choice other than getting on a roof or a second story balcony to clean glass.

I know ā€¦ While bidding a storefront a lady let slip that her guy is charging $5 a window exterior only. And there were streaks EVERYWHERE! Good to know what the market will bear ā€¦

Wow and here I run into guys doing 5 windows in and out for 5 bucks. Buncha schmucksā€¦
