all i can say is I first heard of doug when I joined the forum and he was my competion never saw him or truck around town. Maybe he was doing great but when I saw him selling his wares I was always leary because he didn’t seem to be cleaning windows. + he wasn’t even #1 organic for any keywords in san diego always 3 or 4.
Lesson is when it comes to spending our money with anyone we only can look at ourself, and believe me I’ve wasted it on shady guys before.

No offense but all web designers I know take 25 percent up front and teh rest upon completion of the task. That dude is shade tree and I can promise if he got any money from me, he would cough it up in one way or another…but hey I live in the same city as him. I was going to post all of my emails and texts and etc. that I had shared with Douglas just to prove what a crook he is. Then I thought well maybe I should give him the domain name just to make peace with him…still believing he was still loved by all. But low and behold …all of this. What do think guys? Wanna make a site dedicated to our dealings and experiences we’ve had with our friend Douglas?

Will anyone who was taken advantage of by Doug please PM me? I understand if you do not want
to get involved, I’m not asking you to. I would just like to get a list/idea for all those who are involved
in Doug’s mishandling of the business transaction.
I am not sure what I will do with the information, if anything. But I would like to get a better understanding
of the magnitude of his fraudulent actions. Again if you were involved, even in the slightest bit, please
PM me letting me know how and for how much he owes you. If it is a significant dollar figure I will do something
about it.
It is not fair for any of us, and we DESERVE our money back. Sometimes the industry is tough, and we all work
HARD for our money.
If he has taken the thousands and thousands like I’m assuming he did I would like to protect others
in the future from being taken advantage of.

Thats no joke, Ive hung out with Kevin maybe 5 maybe 6 times now… And I can honestly say he is probably the nicest person I have ever met.
BTW I spoke with Kevin on the phone today, I will be taking
him up on his offer.

Yeah this is BS. Good luck getting SEO business here on this forum. Its a small world, and people arent hard to find. He will jack the wrong person. He kept me at bay just long enough to where I couldnt file a complaint with pay pal, even though I did they said I had to wait 6 months then if he doesnt pay they revoke his account…which doesnt mean chit.

You may also want to post on some other forums (roof cleaning was one) where he has posted in the past and you may find others that have gotten shorted of there $.
Hmmmmm. Just checked and his glass restoration web site is no more (sdglassrestoration.com) and his getonpage1ofgoogle.com site is gone as well. His Facebook wall post is down. This guy is failing all so many levels. So sad. I’m guessing drugs or mental illness.

But I don’t think he set out to scam people, because he started out doing good things. He seemed to be expanding, people thought highly of him and I personally paid to have him help me port over some content because I was unfamiliar with WordPress at the time. He was easy to work with, friendly and he communicated quickly via phone, email and text. I enjoyed working with him and felt like he was/is a good guy.
My point being- if he was just some con-artist, then why be a good guy first, then suddenly turn tables and start ripping everyone off?
I think he is a good kid who has either gotten into drugs/alcohol or has had some kind of traumatic life or mental incident.
He has obviously screwed up bad and needs to own up to it and make things right. But I don’t think he set out to rip people off. Something happened to him to cause such a radical personal/business meltdown.
If he is reading this thread, I hope he knows that it’s not too late to make things right with the people who were hurt by his actions. Ignoring this/them will only make it worse.
I wish him well and hope he stops this train before it totally derails.
Come on Doug, your a young guy with a lot of life in front of you. You have a lot of talent and entrepreneurial spirit and it’s not too late to make things right and get your life back on track! I personally think you can do it man.

I dont know Doug’s middle name, but if someone does you can do a pseudo check with the recorders office and see who has filed what. From there, if you know his full name you can get doc’s from the office, but you have to go down there and do it, and pay. Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk
It looks more like hostgator took down his sites. At the top of the page is a message to contact them. Probably hasn’t paid his bill for a while.
