Is Moerman Currently Working on an Improved Liquidator Rubber?

Hey guy’s!

I don’t know if you noticed, in the comments section on Bob’s YouTube video!

Luke the Window Cleaner may have let the cat out of the bag, about (what appears to be) Moerman experimentating on an improved (“improving” Bob’s own word’s) Liquidator rubber.

See if you can pick it up! Here’s a run down of the dialogue in the YouTube comments below:

"nice one bob! is that the new rubber?"

Note his question!

“Is that THE [not: “a”] NEW rubber?” (Emphasis added by me)

I say = somethings going on here! = I read between the lines a prior conversation: “is that the…” as if they’ve spoken about this with each other before.

Bob replies:

So I asked a direct question of Bob:

Bob’s reply to this was:

Note: “not new as such - just improving what they already have”

So, perhaps, (and I could be wrong here) that Moerman is currently working on (quietly it seems) on “improving” (Bob’s own words) at the very least, the formulation of Moerman rubber (I’m presuming Bob’s talking about Liquidator Dura-Flex rubbers which are the subject of the video).

Trying for a more durable formulation (texture/compound) while trying to maintain it’s flexibility, perhaps?

Any improvement (large or small) is always welcome. Watch this space!

Hopefully that’s true, because the Moerman rubber is terrible

moerman rubber as it stands is good- and its dirt cheap here in the UK. sold in 42 inch strips in bags of 10 theres no other budget rubber its equal for a crew on the move in my opinion. our main squeegee is a 14 incher and i get 3 full refills from each 42 inch strip. many of the rival makers only sell 36 inch strips so a lot is wasted
i really hope they dont mess things up and lose the plot by bringing out a rubbishy ill thought new replacement with a rise in price.
this autumn i was speaking to the owner of cleaning spot [reseller] and he was telling me hed been selling a lot of the bulk packs.
one good feature of the bulk packs is theyre factory sealed and come with a barcode to identify each individual pack
