I just watched the Facebook videoā¦I donāt get what he has against a wife working with her husband. As one of those wives, I find find those comments āinsulting to my familyā and ādisencouragingā

Maybe, but thereās a right way and a wrong way of dealing with criticism.
The wrong way would be to disparage an entire community. Because that entire community will band together to attack you. I like the guy but calling out wcr makes me want to edit some gifsā¦ But I donāt really care that much.
The right way would be to get on here and go toe to toe with arguments to show youāre legit. Argumentation can see done in a positive way. Follow up on the promise to fly anyone out to see his operation. Iām sure Luke would be happy to check it out. Give Luke a day with a genius operator and heād come back as your biggest evangelist.

I understand where you are coming from. But if you and everyone else really knew what they guy have done behind the scenesā¦ the threats, harassment, and many other incidents that make him look like a complete loon then you would understand why the shaming has gotten where it is at. Luke and I have had several conversations were we think that he actually likes the negative attention, because its attention. For exampleā¦ the main thread shaming him was taken down on friday, this current thread before his video bashing WCR hadnt been active in almost 3 daysā¦What I am saying is we all moved onto other thingsā¦ and the attention on Eric Bland stopped. His Youtube video views were cut in halfā¦ so what does he do once all of us stop giving him attention and probably never to shame him in a big way ever againā¦ he makes not one but TWO videos bashing Luke & WCR. If he had not made those videos this thread would probably be going on 4 days being inactiveā¦ I think majority of us have a lot of respect for Chris & Alex at WCR and we have respect for all of us in the industry trying to build businesses and make it. If Eric Bland continues this stunt he is going to find out how hard we all can push back and a comical thread post on a window cleaning forum is going to be the least of his problemsā¦To be honest we are all going to be forced to stop giving Eric Bland the attention he wants because all of us actually have legit businesses to run and we are all going to be getting ready and busy over the next 4-8 weeks. I already have a weeks worth of work on the schedule for next week and customers wanting to get booked asap. Eric Bland provided us some good fun this winterā¦ our point was madeā¦ and itās undeniable that he is a nobody wanting to be a somebody

The point is that I havenāt seen this kind of behavior since Middle School. Honestly. You guys need to step back and take an honest look at your actions. This isnāt about Eric at all. He didnāt come on here and attack you. You saw his post on you tube and posted it here on the forum and had a hay day with it. You antagonize d him relentlessly. What adult does something like that? Thatās Middle school behavior. Was that really necessary?
On one hand we want to claim we are successful entrepreneurs who know how to cast a vision and build an organization to accomplish that visionary on the other hand we are picking on some weak guy from YouTube? What was your thought process? What was your āvisionā on that one? What did you think was going to happen when you poked an an obviously immature individual? Did you think he was going to be the mature one?
Luke you have a YouTube channel that is popular in the window cleaning community. Weāre you trying to set an example for the rest of us to follow? You really see that as something for other to aspire to? Hey I get it you felt a sense of hurt from the guy but that not the way to handle it. You missed judged the guy and thought he was something he wasnāt and you felt let down but whoās fault was that? Your expectations were wrong. You should have learned that you should be careful putting too much stock in others. Let it go and move on. Continuing to engage with that person is going to and has just dragged you down.
One person started this. His motives were twisted whether he wants to admit it or not. Two of you got hurt and joined in to lash out and the rest just joined in for what they felt was fun and you all unfortunately got taken down the wrong path. The question at this point is do you want to stay there or let it go and move on?
I love you guys as fellow members of the forum but sometimes tough love hurts. Itās time to drop this before you drag more people down with you. The hole is only going to get deeper if you keep digging. Nothing good is going to come out of this the direction you are going.
If you donāt want to heed my advice then at least keep this stuff on its own thread where I donāt have to view it.

@whatapane youāve been on forums for atleast as long as I haveā¦ youāve seen these type of guys come into our industryā¦ suck off unsuspecting new guys especiallyā¦ I help moderate Power Washing Community on Facebook and we have the same problems on there. Itās annoying as hell and to me personally its disrespectful to guys like you, me, and others that actually contribute positively to the industry and work hard to make a living in this industry. We have a unique industry that helps each other out in so many ways. Maybe I shouldnāt but I get bent out of shape when someone comes in and abuses it. Iām sorry if the shaming was juvenile, but clowns like Eric Bland and whomever the next clown that comes along should be brought into the light and shown for what they really areā¦frauds.
The title of this thread IS āIām gonna hate on how you clean windowsā ā¦ So itās not necessarily Eric but all of us!

Look Kyle I appreciate your contribution in this community. Thus isnāt the way to handle the situation at all. There is guys like Eric in every industry. People are adults and are responsible for their own decisions. A simple classy post warning the forum would have sufficed to fullfill what you felt was your responsibility. Myself I would have just left it alone but I get it it struck a cord with you. I even get a little of the humor but at some point itās not worth your time or anyone elseās and it just drags everyone down. Respectfully itās time to just let it go.

Man to man Kyle your bigger than this. You got a lot more going for you to let Eric get to you to this degree. Move on.
Kind of silly that a supposed motivational speaker claiming to be one whose desire is to lift up people could be at the root of so much discord. He got caught telling a bunch of damn lies, and has succeeded in bringing people into the mud where he seems to enjoy spending time. I enjoyed watching this unfold more than I care to admit, but itās time for me to tune it all out. There is an old saying about why you donāt want to wrestle a pigā¦you get covered in mud, and after a while you come to realize that the pig actually enjoys it. Fare thee well, Motivational and Keynote Speaker, Eric Bland.

I canāt find that video anymore on youtube but someone made a speed comparison of the different techniques, even the wagtail techniques including the time it takes for detailing and came to the conclusion that straight pull was actually faster.

Lol I dont think think you get our sense of humor . Nobody let us down. You donāt need to be like anybody. Look people make life decisions off of other peopleās advice all the time. For the record I was simply going based on what you yourself expressed in your video about your experience with Eric and based at least one of the comments your wife made on the dis Eric T. Bland mega thread. It wasnāt based on my own observations. Either way the approach taken was not fitting how you have represented yourself so far on the forum and on your channel. I donāt want to be apart of it by having it spill over into what would otherwise be an enjoyable thread and I hate to see good guys make bad choices. Again respectfully.
