How low can you go?

That is the catch. I’ve got a guy in my market that uses the discounted 20 window special and that’s how it works. If you want $12-$15 a window the windows over the 20 window special have to be priced high enough to make up the difference. People fall for it all the time. Well almost. Sometimes they just get the 20 most difficult windows in the house done. Haha

I find it interesting that the advertisement says “licensed and insured”, but on the State of Florida website it shows the license is expired…

… maybe the payment for the license is in the mail.

Flat out ridiculous, so is charging by the window, its too lose of a term tbh make it panes and it would make more sense but still $75 is chump change for in/out inc tracks and screens its gonna take 2hrs min for a single story and 3+hrs for 2story.

And reviews can be bought basically anything can be bought for $5 on that fiver site…
When I 1st started i got 1500 facebook likes for $5 lol

labor doesn’t scale, takes some people longer (maybe a LOT longer) than others to figure this basic principle out

Not just window, sills and screens too.

@Samuel

Samuel have you done any research on this company and are there other companies offering the same pricing structure?..

How much of a hold do they have on “your” market?

I’m just curious…

No I haven’t really looked into them beyond Google reviews/website/flyer.

It’s not that we are the superior companies. It’s just fact you aren’t making money at those prices period. If that’s what he , or anyone for that matter is into so be it. Carry on lol.
He will soon be , the last guy did it for …

Respectfully, I disagree. Maybe he is making money. Like some others commented, maybe the real money is for every window after 20. Maybe he’s just looking for filler jobs that make payroll for his employees. We have no idea.
I guess what bothered me, was posting his flyer along with his name, phone number and all info, solely for the purpose of us pointing and laughing at him. It’s disrespectful. And in general, I find that we are treated the way we treat others. Just my thoughts.

I don’t think anyone is pointing An laughing. Samuel started it by asking how low can you go. It’s a logical question.
There is no myane he is making money. At those prices. It’s just fact he isn’t. While he is cleaning those 20 windows at that price level he isn’t making money.

He could be making coin if he works alone. Maybe he makes enough to pay his bills and doesn’t care about making tons. Maybe a truly honest guy? He might make money like an employee but has the satisfaction and benefits of working for himself?

I say this mainly because I am still slower than I need to be so I am not making as much as an owner should be but it’s done on my own time, which in turn is still money. Insurance isn’t that expensive being a solo operater.

He is probably making way more than most jobs(working for someone) anyways at prices like that.

Maybe…

I think a can all agree it’s dirt cheap pricing.

Now where was that fridge at? Lol

I get your point , but there is nothing dishonest about charging what a company needs to be profitable , an for you to make a good honest living
Slow is one thing you’ll get faster , but 3 dollars a window is another thing.
Ok if your doing it for a promotional type thing to generate work. I guess that is the only logical explaintian for charging so littke.
Don’t get me wrong charge what you want , but at those prices it’s not making a profit.

Hey. If he can go low more power to em.

I agree. It isn’t that much and there’s no way it’ll work for growing a business

That is crazy lol

IMO he charges what he charges. It works for him. If you dont like it, dont work for him and charge more.

Quoting many on here “There are plenty of glass to be cleaned out there”

That price is no different from any window cleaner that advertises on Groupon or similar service. To get in the door, up sell on something. many here have claimed to do, dont agree but it’s a form of marketing that people here have done early in their business.

I don’t understand why so many people are so negative on it, we all learn somehow
