Homemade RO Pure Water System

I paid $500 for the whole system up to but not including the Unger Hydropower.

Brilliantly simple. Eloquently explained too. Thanks.
What pole hose is on the reel? Looks like Gardiner 8mm hot water hose.

Hi Steve,

Thanks! I start out with 100 feet of yellow 11.5 mm OD Gardiner hose that shrinks down to the orange 8 mm OD pole hose made by Aquadapter. It’s quite stiff and lasts forever! I think I have about 400 feet available but often use about 200 feet on the reel. It’s been unavailable in North America for a while now but I’d love to track more down in the near future.

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply! The Aquadapter hose is polyurethane. Gardiner’s orange PU hot water hose is too so they may be similar.

Thanks for bumping this; awesome video.
Almost went that route, but spring snuck up on us and I ended up going with a Tucker premade situation. Love it, but the price is always a little pinch. Interesting thoughts on the hose angles too, makes sense. @Pure_Water_Window_Cl

Awesome video. Thanks for the inspiration.

But I think you meant 1/5 of a cubic foot, not metre. That would be a huge tank!
