High rise sales comp plan?

Anyone have a comp plan they’ve used for high rise sales? We originally set up a tiered sales plan that was 5% of the annual revenue at the time of signing the contract. 3% the next year if we did the job again. And 1% residual every year there after.

It was also paying 3k/mo salary on top of that plus full benefits.

Is it working?

Our sales girl was only with us a few months. She was awesome and got us a ton of contacts but the hard part has been following up since she left.

She only left to take on a management position at another company with a higher salary. Can’t blame her for moving up.

So to answer your question, we didn’t have a long enough testing period.

I was just curious if anyone had a different comp plan they’ve used.

How many employees do you have?

At how many employees did you decide to hire a sales person?

We have 10 guys typically. Of course we unfortunately lay off in the slow season.

We hired a sales person at 10.

That’s great, good work
