Help with idea on cleaning process please

Hello, I had a new client Tequesta quote today for window cleaning on an old bank turned restaurant. The window is the old teller drive thru window. It has a lot of deep gouges which I can not fix, and they are aware of that. However, it also has what appears to be an old film of some sort, maybe an old glass frosting… I’m not really sure, but it is a total mess. It can’t be cleaned with the typical scrubber and squeegee. I thought about trying cerrium oxide to resurface the glass with the understanding tati can not promised positive result. His other option is to have it replaced. Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean this window. It’s about a 12 Sq ft window. And what would you charge for this service.
Thank you for any advice.

I think teller windows are bullet proof, that may have something to do with it.

Yeah, probably bullet proof glass. If you put a razor on it, you’ll get some nice deep scratches. It’s a softer glass to absorb impacts so it scratches easily. If they want it to look good, then they should probably replace it with regular glass.

Oh yes, it is bullet proof. I think their best option is going to be replacing it, but they want to give it a go on cleaning first. I guess they figure they have nothing to lose on it…
