Help. New to the game. 7 story Building. Gaborone

NO nonnonononononononooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
hell no.

You don’t wfp upside down.

Not only is the angle wrong (trust me, I’ve regrettfully done it before) you just look like a freaken idiot doing it.

Check to see if there are anchors or tie backs on the roof. If they do ask for when they had the last inspection. If they need one, get the pre use and their annual done at the same time itll save them money (the pre use can be the annual vice versa).

If you can’t boom, (its a hospital right? its gonna be open 24/7 you ain’t gonna be able to boom it more than likely even if the garage could support it) then just do the drops.

Of get a bigger wfp.

I have yet to get s watered pole. I’m getting one next month cause I see the value in it. But, I thought he just likes waterfed pole.I don’t own one, but I would rent a lift and pole from the garage with my unger 30 foot pole if it’s not two far. I have done pole work where others said it was impossible. Not with the right tools.

aliens, only aliens can do it. they have advanced window cleaning technology. the government has captured some of it but they deny it to maintain order. wait till trump finds out he can have his windows cleaned, not pay for it and not even have to have his “we won’t pay you because we don’t want to” lawyers involved.

:scream: not possible to do a good job wfp upside down, you don’t have the angle to apply pressure and it would crazy hard to control with extreme danger of dropping it

I see no reason why it couldn’t be straight up wfp’d judging by the photo. I’ve done 7 stories in hairy situations fine. I’d have to see what the landscape is.

Yeah. Up close I see. But you would have to be built like polzn blade

Your shoulders would hurt after a while.

After checking that google pic and looking at the roof, there would need to be anchor installation at least for diversionary purposes, or several of the drops would be “Hairy” to say the least lol.

Mule/rolling rig if there’s room for someone to push. Hint: Mule rolling rig something I used to get one side of a building in one drop with the assistant of someone on the roof looking over and pushing to the me to the next set of windows.

I guess you never looked at the roof, its steel sheeting what would be called colorbond over here, looks to be about a 20-25° pitch, the center of the roof looks to have some AC units that would be structural and would be ideal to anchor to. there is no way on earth you could setup a rig as you describe

Oh. Ok. Never checked the roof. Didn’t know you can do that with Google. Man, they thought of everything. I’m still stuck in the stone age. I don’t even have what they call a waterfed pole. That’s soon going to change. I’m all for sticking and moving. But I probably won’t want to eliminate wagging as I enjoy doing it. :yum:

Wow, that was awesome. Thank you everybody. Very much appreciated. I had a look and there is enough space for us to get a boom (cherry picker) on the left side of the building. And have decided to do it on a weekend, as they will be closed.

Sorry, for the late replies everybody, time difference is a bit awkward.

Thank you again guys. Your help and assistance was truly inspiring.
It really is.
I kind of feel alone here in Botswana, but through this site - window cleaning resource, I really do feel I have a chance of running a successful window cleaning company. Again words don’t do justice to the support I have felt.

Respect guys, mass respect.

Thank you.
Much appreciated
Chris
