There is no way you would fit a boom down that left side next to that tan building, probably rope access would be easiest, but you cant just give a guy on a rope a squeegee and expect results, that person needs to be trained on the ground first. I mean you could WFP it but your probably gonna have to spend a good dollar on a longer pole.
Is it glass and panels or just the glass?
train his rope guys how to clean windows for a day then get them going down the sides
rent a larger lift
buy a 7 storey wfp
Having just purchased a 6 storey wfp, my advice would be to try 1 or 2 before going this route. It is incredibly difficult to wfp at 5 storeys and above.
I don’t recommend going pass 6 stories with a wfp. You have too much glass at that height. I’m sure you want to do a great job. For rope accent would be be the way to go. If You have at least15 ft clear from the ledge you could use a roll around which would be even faster. As long as the guy in the chair is fully trained. You have to watch out for Osha. They see anything unsafe, they could fine you and or shut you down.
Think about it though… @Krees is building his window cleaning business and already has guys who can descend by rope. They just have to be trained to clean glass. Take the cost of renting a lift and subtract out of that the cost of training a few guys for the day and the remainder is savings in the bank.
Now after this job is done he can do other high rise jobs at no extra cost than hourly wage.
I am assuming there are 4 sides of glass…
From that pic it doesn’t seem that there is even enough room to drive a small car down the left side of the building, if you can’t fit a car down that ally way then you cant fit a lift, if you cant fit a lift you likely would not have room to clean that high with a pole.
