Finished the job today. 95% of the hard water came off. I only had a two hour window (no pun intended) to clean the windows. I started with phosphoric acid, stuff is amazing by the way. Then some hand buffing. At the end of all this can you recommend a good buffer. I have a Ryobi but it’s slow.

Thanks for the advice. What do you use to buff. Just a pad with buffing compound? I have been buffing with a ryobi and barkeepers but am interested in your approach.

I bought the glass renu system. The beginners model. www.glassrenu.com comes with a 5 inch felt pad specially made for buffers.
