Just did a job trying to remove set in transmission fluid/ grease stains from someone’s VERY porous concrete driveway, spend two hours, used the toughest degreaser I could find (Castrol Super Clean), quoted him $120 for the job, drove 40 minutes each way, and they aren’t satisfied. I know I should have charged more in the first place, but now I’m looking at going back with CLR Grease Magnet to see if it works any better. I don’t know if this is just a rant or what. 
Might need an eatoils product?

I use a product called Conc-Kleen or Bio Clean, buy it at larger Commercial Janitorial supplies. It works great if you follow the instructions.
Bio-Clean is for the biological problems
Conc-Kleen is for the non biological problems - eg trany or motor oil
Do you have a small rotary machine so you can do some scrubbing with, or even a deck brush on a pole?
Little rotary machine, like the small Oreck or even an old dual head floor machine?
Unless you know what your doing with them, stay away from a rotary buffing machine, too aggressive and hard to control until you get the hang of them, and it is all in the wrists, not the shoulders!
Thankfully the customer called me back and said that they understood the remaining deep set stain was probably never going to come out right away (two hours) and that they were happy with the work I had done! Thanks for the tip though, I’ll keep those products in mind for sure!
2nd post, 2nd thought.
before you drive all that way, test some different products in a customers or neighbours drive for free!
Tell them, free cleaning to test some products in a small area. Then when they like the results give them a discount on the rest of the drive, really good discount.
Now go the 40min drive to the original customers, armed with best products and best knowledge on how to do the job.
ps. my neighbours and customers love that I do that for them sometimes, even had one ask me recently if I needed to come and do some more tests on his property!
This fellow watches what I do, gives some good pointers sometimes, and laughs and laughs with the ease of the results versus how he might clean them himself with a garden hose and brush.
ps, I also get Tea or Coffee when he is around

I have actually done that before, given the free work to test out a product, but with the grease stain I was actually quite satisfied with the result, almost nothing left but a very light shadow on nearly white concrete, but the client’s mom (lol) was hoping for a better result (ie brand new looking driveway). On the budget the son was on, he just wasn’t prepared to pay more. in the future I might carry a small variety of different products to make sure that I can work within a customers budget, for example someone willing to pay more I could use ‘eatoils’ which is significantly more expensive, or perhaps for a customer who put “going green” first etc Thanks again for the input though!
Eat oils bt200 will do trick. My minimum for oil stain removal is 375$
Yes I will definitely be buying some of the bt 200, and charge more for the job (for travel and materials). I don’t regret doing what I did though, live and learn. At the end of the day I got the job done within his budget (and mine!). I appreciate the feedback though!
