Funny question

Sooooo, today I was working a job at a house that is about to go up for sale and was contracted out by a cleaning service that I do work for frequently. These home owners were so particular that it made my head hurt. They were so cheap as to only want exterior glass only, no screen cleaning and no frame cleaning at least (my conscious still made me brush the frames) but at the end they wondered why I didn’t do anything to the screens and why there were still spots on the windows. I said “sir you wanted exterior GLASS ONLY and opted out on an additional charge for screen cleaning, though for no charge I did clean the frames a bit.” He said “well why is there stains still??” I said “well you do realize that I did exterior only and those stains are on the inside of the glass right?” He felt like an idiot and admitted his wrongs eventually. Then he tried to complain to me about the cleaning crew. I just told him I am a completely separate company from them and he needed to call the owner. Question is… who can feel my pain?? I HATE picky people that are cheap on top of it all.

So true, being picky when you order the cheapest service option is lame.

I have one I’m doing next week - huge remodeled home with gobs of big windows. The lady said she was on the workers the whole time to not get paint and such on the windows…GOOD FOR HER…but then she wanted me to give her a way reduced price to do it quarterly exterior and semi-annual in 'n out. I told her that I am not even charging her a CCU price because the workers did such a good job of cleaning up after themselves, that the price is the price. We shall see going forward.
