I was curious as to how successful people have been landing jobs with franchises. I ask because I know someone who is store manager at a auto parts store that is tight with the district manager but before I approach my friend about it I wanted to see if anyone else had been through it and what the logistics of it would be.
Approach him like any other manager. It’s good practice. If you screw up in your pitch it’s no big deal.

I never had much success with franchises as it is common for price to be the only factor. We are not lowest price in our area so we don’t have a chance usually.
Just approach and price as you need, making changes in your price or approach will come from your experiences.
