First Floor Exterior STUMP LADDER

Had it a few years ago, now I have Birkenstock inserts and haven’t had any issues since. Had them for about 7 years now.

Oops, meant to reference @BostonMike

The more it hurts the better I like it, the better I like it the more it hurts.

This mantra came from my old man. He slaved away his whole career for next to nothing. Taught me a valuble lesson.

Yes, depending on the landscaping I have stool, 4’, 6’, 10’ A-frame. I had one really tall window with a huge bouganvillia bush (thorns-a-plenty) in front of it, deemed uncleanable.

I know right

I have NO idea why… but this thread made me laugh/smile.

Thanks! (for unknown reasons.)

Maybe it was the Plantars Foot… not sure.

You may need to look around for a metal one but I’m sure you can find one.

Was looking at the image…
and thought you guys were looking for a metal version of those Apple Ladders.

Sorry if I jumped the gun.

I think yes. That’s what they’re looking for.

Nope, I’m sorry. I was wrong. This is what they’re looking for. Deliveries to the UK only. I’m sure if you butter up @jonnyald and line his wallet with a fat stack he may mail a couple over?

6 foot normal, is the way to go.

hmmm instructions say that’s a no no

Really? Idk, it honestly seems about as safe as you could ever be on a ladder…for sure no worse than being on a sawed-off extension ladder! If i ever fall the two feet, though, I’ll report back.

i was reading the info for stack aladders on a site the other day and it said mid or top sections were never to be used without the base section.

For the lack of feet obviously. But my sawed off is 4’ and has 2 old lightweight levelers on it. And the mitts, I often use it inside, my stacks are 6 footers, and a 4’ mid. But with no feet on mid and tops, cant use inside

Crutch feet, a half and a top sectional are my go to ladder when I ladder up on some storefronts. Wouldn’t use them any higher than that.

Ladder mitts fit nice too

I use mine mainly to reach tall first floor stuff outside on resi. The ladder digs into the dirt very nicely making it even less likely to slip than if it had true feet. In the rare case i need a short ladder indoors, i use the bottom section and put a folded towel over it to protect the wall (although i want to get the rubber chair caps i saw in another thread).
