Deciding on a Business Name

I was going to call my business “All Good Things Window & Gutter Cleaning.” Recently I thought about changing the name to “Brosneck Window & Gutter Cleaning” after my last name for what I saw as increased professionalism and legitimacy. What do you guys think? The business will be run by my wife and I, so I’m not concerned about complications with selling it in the distant future. Thanks for your input!

Why even mention cleaning? Just a thought it’s good to have in the name but won’t make or break the business

I’m not dead set on including it and am open to suggestions. What would I have the name be otherwise?

Just "Brosneck"
Then under it (in a little smaller lettering) :
Window & Gutter Cleaning

I see! I really like that. Gives the name “Brosneck” a powerful image.

I think Brosneck is a great business name alone. It does give an extra “strength” to the name. If you let the “window cleaning” part be just a descriptive subtitle and not part of the registered biz name, then if you decide in the future to make a pivot in your business focus, there’s no need or expense to change the actual business name itself. Just a thought  Good luck!

Name your company Brosnek Inc or Brosneck LLC, then you can have more flexibility with your DBA names.

I was planning on starting as a sole prop.

Get your LLC. It protects you.

Is it really worth it if I’m a one man show doing only storefront and small houses, with GL insurance? I’m not disputing, just wondering. I would certainly get my LLC eventually, Id rather just get started now without getting my enthusiasm killed with paperwork.
