Crappy Call Center Job UPDATE

Hey guys,

So after that recent post I decided to go out there and stop wasting time.
So far it has been one week (technically this a day late so it’s 8 days) and I have been super busy. I picked up a total of
$90 for screen replacement (never done this)
$66 for window cleaning (some are scheduled monthly and bi-monthly)
$25 for one customer next week

So for one week of business where I was able to only work yesterday for the full day and then last week everyday after 4:30PM that comes to a grand total of $181.00

It’s not super impressive but it’s a start. I won’t be leaving the call center soon, but eventually I will leave and be doing this full time. Of course I need to get my taxes/business license filed.

Just wanted to shoot you guys an update.

Kudos to WV WindowWashing for giving me some much needed mentoring!

Everybody starts somewhere mate. I really hope that your dislike of window cleaning from when you were a lad doesn’t affect how you view it now as an adult looking to start your own window cleaning business!

Heck, I grew up in a fish and chip takeaway hating working there as a kid but now I look back and I know that the experience even though negative has taught me how to be better.

Would love to continue hearing how things fare for you on your journey as a start up business!

Exactly. Tbh it’s not that bad, obviously I’ve matured a bit since 18! The experience did teach me to work hard.
I’ll try to keep sending updates.

Lots of WC businesses have gone through the same growing pains that you are experiencing. So, hang in there and keep handing out bids!

Nice start! I know the feeling of getting paid window cleaning and then going back to work for someone else, but you will get there. Maybe even to the point where you are so busy you wish you had the down time again
