Another silly question, can you guys actually control where you close out (side/bottom) depending on where you begin on the window?
Yes…doesn’t matter where you start…

Of course. Let’s say you could close out with one final pull to the left but you want to close out on the right, just scim over the top inch or two of water going left, then turn and do your final pull to the right.
You can control it at any time with any start and with any technique.
But just starting out, pick either the side or the bottom and focus on just closing out. Then as you get better, it won’t matter and you’ll close where you want/need to close.
