Construction clean price help

Hi ,

We are quoting these two town house complex places… Both have the same amount of panes ( 52 ). There are ten more of the same buildings so we are putting together to prices that we can multiply for all other buildings. They are not all built yet as well. We just got into construction cleans and wanted to get a second opinion on what you guys would quote. They are three story places fairly straight forward access to windows but have not been cleaned since construction. Exterior windows only .

Patio glass we can include separately.

Interested about getting into construction cleans as well. I hope you get good feed back. Nate we have fairly comparable markets since I live on the island.

[MENTION=23908]NateSolutions[/MENTION] Have you looked at all 10 other building, Every one will have it own issues(Scratches,FD,Mortar/concrete,Stickers,ect so in my opinion you need to quote each one on its own not as a package deal. Make the builder signs a FD and Scratch Waiver(you can find sample waiver’s here on the forum just research it. [I]CCU it is very time consuming so make sure you price it right or you’ll NEVER want to do it again…[/I]

Do you have any idea on pricing for this job ( on each building ) 10.00 per pane? Twice as long as regular clean?

I’m not sure what youre market is like but for sure more then $10 (I hope), bid what you feel comfortable with, just take into account how much time it will take to do each pane,ladder work,labor,insurance,tax,gas,chemicals,back office time,ect. Theres alot to consider when doing CCU the main one is your Liability “Make the builder signs a FD and Scratch Waiver(you can find sample waiver’s here on the forum just research it.” I hope this helps…

This can’t be expressed enough, it’s like brushing your teeth before bed.

price it at 2-3 times as much as you would regularly-be prepared to clean the glass 2-3 times and spend more time on frames-sills-etc. Report and document all pre exisiting damage to ANYTHING you canbe blamed for with a cell camera and email thats date and time stamped.
