Commercial contract basics

Just landed a job for three schools and realized that something of this magnitude should probably have some sort of written agreement. What are some of the basics I should be sure to include? If anyone has any samples they wouldn’t mind sharing, that would be appreciated as well.

This is a process.

First I submit a written quote on a proper quote template with my logo and particulars.

When it is accepted there is an email sent to me with a P.O.# That number is used for billing.

The email chain between myself and the customer is all I have ever used as ‘evidence’ of an agreement.

Never had a problem with this system.
