Cleaning spider webs with wfp

Im looking for some pointers on technique when it comes to spider webs. Especially in the corner of frames with a water fed pole. If you’re wondering,I’m using to reach It pro with the constrictor brush. I love the brush but this is increasingly becoming a issue especially with higher level windows as this is the reason we have the pole in the first place. any advice is appreciated!

it ain’t always easy. i have used several brushes constructor beast, tucker hybrid, nylex, flocked.
sometimes you have to experiment with twisting your pole to turn the brush vertical or
put the brush into the corner and pull the web out.
cocoons are especially difficult.
whenever i speak about it with customers i never indicate i will get them all, "we should be able to get alot of these cobwebs off the window frames too, keep in mind our equipment is designed for cleaning the glass and spider webs are made to be strong and sticky even when wet."
you can also pick up a cobweb brush, but it will have a hard time with cocoons as well.
you can also mention that you can do more work removing cobwebs for an additional fee.
under promise over deliver =happy customer.

Thanks brother, that was valueable. Im somewhat of a perfectionist and when they get caught in the corner of the frame it aggravates the heck out of me.

i have a few different pole tips too and on a job awhile ago i was asked specifically if i could get a pesky coccon out of the corner. no luck with a brush but my angle adapter with nothing on it got it out of the corner.
and your welcome.

Why would you want to clean cobwebs? You need a super tiny squeegee and if it’s a black widow, she’ll be all up your business…

Dude, all you gotta do is buy an ettore super brush! Stick it on the end of a regular extension pole and it’ll take you a new york minute to walk all those cobwebs out of ANY corner or whatever else your’re trying to get em out of before you wfp.

They’re next to nothing to buy and they work for freaken everything!

You have done this I take it? In planning on investing in one cause of the sudden growth and demand in my area. Even though I’m threatened by fish window cleaning. Lol.

This is what we us gets into the corners and crevices.
We have put a quick lock connection on it so we can put on any size pole for those high cobwebs.

Don’t underestimate the power of soap. I did a job earlier this year that was on a lake, and the windows were just hammered with spider webs and bug poo. The windows were newer true divides, and they hadn’t been cleaned in a couple years.

I mixed ecover and a touch of NaOH (lye - be careful) for some extra zing. Then I dipped my wfp brush in the bucket every couple of windows. Scrubbed 'em up, rinsed 'em off, and it worked like a miracle!

It does take some extra time to get all the soap rinsed. But makes a huge difference. Just be super careful with your dilution ratio and handling procedure if you decide to use the lye. A little goes a long way!

Yes, of course I have. I ain’t guessing, it works man, and much better then getting your wfp brush all mucked up with webs. Just walk it thru with a pole. I’ve used em on the end of the unger 5 piece poles at 31/2 stories. Seriously crazy fast.

I’d have one guy go ahead of the man on the wfp and knock em all out.

I’ve used that brush to wash screens with too.

That brush is honestly the best one I have.

It’s not really an investment, they’re like 30 bucks.
