Cleaning Inside Windows Like A Professional

LOL this was on TV a few days ago

I highly recommend watching Lukeā€™s video on Water Management:

I recommend Lukes squirt bottle method for inside glass. Itā€™s great. Was using bucket for nearly 20 years inside, but converted to squirt bottle inside, and havenā€™t looked back.

Uses drop sheets or huck towels to catch drips. At least something that doesnā€™t look shabby, dirty or stained. Look professional, not like Saydee the Old Cleaning Lady.

Use your foot to wipe drips on floors (where practical) with towel, rather than bending down (just swirl with your leg). Saves your back long term. Or conversely, use a short mini-pole for wiping sills inside. Use a hair-tie (made out of panty hose material) to hold sill cloth on pole tip. I always have one of my wifes hair ties wrapped around two fingers on my left hand.

Learn to be ambidextrous. Two hands. Squeegee in one, T-bar in the other.

Work with gravity (not against it). Water falls down. So learn to hold your T-bar and sleeve both underneath and tight against the glass (to catch the drips) in the opposite hand, while fanning windows inside. Benefits? This method recycles water, keeps glass wet and slippery in hot sun as your progress down the window, while simultaneously reducing the overall amount of water left at the bottom = common sense. By using two hands, instead of one, saves (at least reduces) your body from occupational overuse syndrome (wear and tear).

Just a few ideas.
