I reject the metric system

You’re right. Not thought about that.
Any bucket organiser you can recommend?
Or do you have all your channels in the bucket and not in the pouches?

Not only would I be worried about rust but it would also be loud and clanky with metal tools bouncing around inside. I would probably go with something like this if a tool box is the route you want to take

I have one like that already. But it doesn’t satisfy my organisation need :grinning:

I like the way @anon35812390 carry’s his gear!

And that is? Haven’t noticed that.

His setup is in one of the liquidators/ exclerator threads, maybe he post it up here for you to see.

Is that the one with “the dirty water” in it …

while posting the older pic I’ve realised that my workflow has changed a little. Instead of adding soap to the bucket I’ve found it more efficient and effective to add it direct to whatever Fliq I’m using. I know my route and/or residential jobs well so only ever have the bucket set up for what I need on the day. Tools not required are kept in a seperate bucket in the vehicle. I don’t like the tool laden belt and the only thing attached is scrim on a torch holder ring on left and microfibres on a security retractable line on the right. I like to travel light as opposed to carrying every conceivable tool under the sun…for…“just in case”.

Hey Eric
Where did you get that 18 inch steel wool sleeve ?

That’s a nice one.
But I want something I can carry with me who storage many different channels, rubbers, handles etc…
Maybe a bucket organiser is the best.
The tool box with drawers I first liked, but as someone said - maybe it will rust pretty quickly.

It’s actually a bronze wool pad on one end and a ss pad on the other. It just looks that long because the Fliq is sitting on top… nice thought though

Jonathon, I thought the same and spent good money on a plastic tool storage trunk with tray and heaps of room. Found I simply didn’t need it and it now languishes in my shed with very little in it. All of our business requirements are unique of course but if you’re considering something like this plastic with air/moisture holes drilled underneath is much more logical than metal.

Is this just for your truck or to carry inside clients homes? If to carry around , that’s going to be heavy. HD has this husky tool bags that you’ll probably like better . They’re not made of metal
