So, what’s it like going over for the first time?
I learned on a round building (Planet Hollywood) which is the best since you back gradually into a vertical position which helps your nerves.
First straight vertical drop was hard. My friend and i were both having second thoughts. im sitting there thinking "who do I think i am? I cant do this by myself " But it was most nerve racking because I didnt trust the equipment and I basically learned the WRONG way (paperwork only) and later got real training and experience. If i was surrounded by experienced guys perhaps it would have been different. But i quickly got used to it and started adding great guys and soon became an in demand company doing biz all over Florida. I went from 4 stories to 8 to 40 in a year.

I have SO MUCH RESPECT for the guys that do high rise work. I know you have to have a lot of trust in your equipment. I would triple check everything before I climbed over the side of the building.
People ask me all the time when I tell them that I clean windows…“Do you hang off the side of buildings?”

Zoom in at the top of the black letters on building, bird carcass. Peregrine falcons on building eats them like crazy, heads and feet everywhere
