Much like a few posts I have read on here recently, I started a small Window Cleaning business in Grand Rapids, MI back in 2008. I have a large investment in the business, and I am hoping to sell it.
We are not in a hurry to sell, but we have various reasons, including a possible move in the future (when the time is right), that is motivating us to change careers. I am also starting a small Cloud-based bookkeeping practice (PM me if interested in these services as well ).
Here are some basic details. In depth reports of last year's income can be provided to an interested buyer (please PM me if you want to inquire further).
Commercial Route - 2 days a week avg - $23,000
Residential Work - $8,000
The accounts are well priced and organized nicely on the route. They have been cleaned for years, some well before I started as I bought some myself early on. Regarding the residential, when I started cleaning, I did only residential. I scaled the list I've done now for a few years way down to the best jobs I could do easily on a route and as a one-man show. I have a larger list of clients we have worked for in the past that very well could re-book in the future that would be provided as well.
We have a number of features designed for an easy transfer. For us to pull the trigger right now, we'd have to have a large portion of the payment up front, which may not be possible, but we will keep using this great business as long as we need to save for future endeavors, and we will keep it up for sale as we progress through the year.
If you have any interest, please PM me for more details. THANK YOU!
