I hope to be working all winter :sunglasses: November-March is the busy season in SW Florida.

Planned marketing efforts will now revolve around residential door-to-door sales, once I get the proper permitting from the county and state.

Frist off before anything else, we will soaking up all the knowledge from the “Blue Print” then we will move into action mode.

Sometimes all it takes is finding the missing puzzle piece(s) and then take action.

I’ll post up our plan of action in a week or so.

Getting the marketing plan lined out. Getting new truck lettered, We have to plan now and prep now to be ready for spring.
I know most of us “enjoy the winter slow down” to kick back but spring comes fast and if you don’t have your equipment prepped, marketing plan in place you play catch up all year and lose out on money to be made!!:sunglasses:

Maybe 2 hours left of creating and organizing the “master winter to do list”

I have 3 huge needs that won’t be easy, time consuming and expensive.

Think the master list is over 200 items. Once we officially hit a dead period (looks like next week) I’ll put the team on some of them.

  • Figure out carrier routes for next year’s EDDM
  • Design some new marketing materials
  • Possibly redesign website using WordPress
  • Canvas as much storefront as possible

This winter, we are putting final touches on the operations manual.
All SOPs written: office, production, sales, training.
Also, editing training video series, so we can fast start all new hires
next year.
Reviewing and optimizing our use of tech tools like CRM, responsibid, etc.
Update and pre-print our client list mailers.
Market research for new areas.

Probably the most difficult thing for me is defining and refining and putting
in writing / video, our specific company culture.

Chris, did you have culture defined and in writing for All County? Or now?

Thanks!

Sid

Joining forces with my wife. She will be taking on some of the business side of things including web design, seo, organizing mailings, etc. Allowing me to do what I’m good at, clean windows. We’ll be figuring out how to add work and add workers and set me up to eventually be more of a field manager.

Really though. About to hire a employee to take over a large chunk of our storefronts . Rebuild our website and get a mailer campaign in place .

Doing a heavy door hanger campaign this winter . Started yesterday . I put out 300 yesterday and 500 today. Tomorrow I have a big job so just going to hit up that neighborhood about (40homes ). Then repeat after that .
It’s pretty much go hard or go home kinda attitude .

The grind will pay off big!

Carpet cleaning, floor work, HWS and high overhead cleaning. The clients I get for those jobs will also get upsells for WC.

Hiring and training a couple of employees so that they can do the recurring service work (cleaning commercial buildings in the evening) so that I have more time to pursue and execute the “day jobs” listed above.

Also expanding my area, so I need to get some crm stuff and improve my marketing.

This is me right now as well. Just started reading it. Then I’m going to map out a very detailed weekly EDDM campaign for spring.
