Boars Hair Brush

The Tucker Hybrids rock!

I gave up on the Constructor after 45 minutes of assembly and 30 seconds of use. Ends up the innermost hose cap had a hole in it, and I wasn’t about to take it back apart and reassemble it.

…Really? No more metal ones?

I love mine haven’t had a problem and customers love it

I’ve used it on about 15 medium residential jobs.

While using the boars hair brush i find the it really grabs onto the the glass a lot better compared to a nylon brush. I also believe the it gives glass a softer clean compared to a nylon brush. Our company in[Sacramento] uses nothing but tucker hybrid brushes.

Every boars hair brush I’ve ever used sheds a little bit.

What’s the solution for the hairs matting and obstructing the jets constantly?

Shaun - Id love to exchange my metal rinse bar for a plastic. It’s too risky in metal for me, didn’t realize when I bought it.

Also, my tucker brush still sheds pretty bad, I’ve been using it for months of occasional use, I’m not super busy. I love the way it cleans but now the bristles mat so bad around the jets it’s unworkable almost. So I guess I need that rinse bar (even though I don’t love the pressure of the rinse bar for rinsing).

Can you contact me at desertvistawindowwashing@gmail.com

I actually have a way to fix it if your issue with the rinse bar is pressure related. I carry an extra brush with a bar that I basically blocked off roughly every other hole cutting them from 23 ,or whatever it is, down to I think 12 holes. Anytime my pressure isnt quite what I wish I switch to this brush. It still got a good spread, which is what you need and now i can have too much pressure at times. Saves some battery use too which translates to more running time on the pump. How I blocked them was to take some plumbers putty and take bb sized chunks of it and just push it into the holes you want to fill a couple times and thats it. Its also easy to remove so you can play around a bit with which holes you block. At sone point it is trading too much flow for the pressure and I found that it was best not over half of the holes or you’ll lack the flow to rinse well. After a month of use the holes are still blocked successfully without incident. Plumbers putty wont ever harden so the mod should be reversable any time.

I want to try half the holes and figure a way to give it a fan jet on each side of the bar midway between the middle and the ends of the bar. That would probably be amazing for most of the glass I clean.
