Best Bucket on a Belt Video

Dangit, I was so close to getting the pulex buckets too. Looks like I’ll be replacing cat ornaments for a while.

Are you against or support the swivel function?

pulex boab can be raised to the max if you reverse the clip and bolt it on. then it works great!

I have the ABC,my problem is I’m short so it busts my shins all day long!!!still looking for a hip bucket that doesn’t hang down extra low or I’m looking to get taller

Thanks for the heads up.

For what’s it’s worth I sewed the belt material of my BOAB strap onto my tool bag, so it won’t flop around. I carry the BOAB on my hip just behind the seam of my pants so it’s kinda behind me out of the way when I walk or run. Nothing knocking into my knees. :slightly_smiling_face:

I used a sewing ale. It uses a wax coated twin that’s a tad bit heavier than thread.

What’s a sewing ale?

Everything on my belt is sewn permanently in place

I like the swivel action. When I’d tie the pulex to my leg and bend down, it’d dump water everywhere. With the swivel action, you can bend and move and the bucket stays vertical. Unless you get it caught on something.

No more legend?

Does it have swivel action?

nitpicking bastard reporting: for the record sewing “awl” when you use sewing “ale” you will soon find it difficult to sew in a straight line (hic)

very helpful video. i started out using a bucket and nylex brush, quickly changed to squirt bottle and workbelt with pockets that hold the brush and bottle. last year i started using a t bar and 3m glass cleaner and have been thinking of going to a boab so very timely for me. thanks!

The legend is good but it slows me down a bit and I’m not to interested in that…

Mike where did you pick up the sewing awl tool?

Bought it at a backpacking store about forty years ago, why?

@BostonMike
I like the idea of stitching somethings into place and I have a couple other ideas that it would come in handy for.

Edit:
Thanks Mike for posting this and the video, just ordered one on line it will come in handy!

I was just being a smart ass for laughs. I’m surprised they still make the same one.
