Bad week last week

I can see having a small amount of good paying storefront accounts, but guys that are doing a fair amount of it, I just don’t see how they make money, especially if they are solo guys.

Residential and commercial pay more, everywhere in the US.

Like it was said in an old post, a store front account might pay over a 52 week service cycle, what ONE residential pays. Except it costs you ALOT more to service that account.

Wonder I’m still alive.

A lot less “no” with residential. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

I see both sides of it. Currently I do 70 percent storefront 30 residential. I do love the residential money. However, I enjoy having a consistent schedule year round - not running like my hair is on fire for months at a time trying to get every possible house in before the season ends. I also enjoy being busy enough through the winter to survive and not worry overmuch about the finances.

That being said, I am looking to increase my residential next year, but not at the expense of the storefront.
