Aviary clean

A long time customer has an aviary built into their outdoor space and text me that he would like the one window that is really hard to reach cleaned. They built a wired cage into one corner of the area that encases one big stationary glass on one wall and two double roll out casement windows on the adjoining wall. The two casements are easy enough to open and clean from the inside reaching out, but the big glass is a contortionist nightmare to reach completely with all of the obstacles inside the cage. If there was an opening that I could at least fit half my body in to pole then probably would work, but birds flying everywhere freaking out. (Cage is triangle 6’ x 4’? x 5’ tall with about a 2’ square opening and built up off the ground a couple feet). I have attempted to clean it occasionally when it really gets bad with bird dirt, but usually ends up sub-par for my liking. I may not have the greatest pole skills but I do well compared to some others I have seen locally. This one is just no room to maneuver easily. I am kind of thinking my short water fed pole, but would still have to remove obstacles in the cage to reach the whole window. Then the set up time for one set of windows as the rest of the place isn’t a good fit for the WFP.
Anyway, just pre-venting frustration before next weeks visit.
Any other contortionist jobs out there?

Sounds very difficult. Can you spray it with a hose first from the outside of the cage to pre clean it , then spray it with DI water from out side ? Won’t be perfect but would look much better for sure

I don’t know, the configuration makes that a little impractical? I text back if they could clear a path for me - he said “We’ll talk about it when you get here”. I could clear the path myself, some fragile and cumbersome elements, but there will be a charge for that. It is a big all day job as it is already.

I guess I need to see a picture , sounds very complicated.

Yea, I’ll try to get a picture next week. It is more complicated probably because of upsetting the bird population of finches in there, obstacles in it, and the poor design for cleaning purposes.
