Any ideas? Crazy Builders!

@Gotlift do not forget to up sell the chandler cleaning, “since i will be accessing thoughs High windows would you like me to clean the chandler also since it probably hasn’t be cleaned in a while, it would only be $XX”

The above statement is if your laddering up to access the windows.

I had one lady want to know if I could clean her old designer series Pella above an island like that. It was only 4’x4’ and 15’ up…

Even with two people I wouldn’t try it. The ground floor windows were a stone behatch to break the seal and get off.

Any Pella 15’ up is/would be a PITA to clean.

I like doing Pella windows, though. $$$$

What about 4 a frame ladders setup with 2 picks across to set another a frame on to actually get up in there. You’d basically be straddling the island. Or some baker scaffolding to straddle island. That’s an awful lot of setup and tear down though for 100 bucks.

I’m thinking I’ll start setting up a ladder and hopefully she’ll get distracted and leave. When she comes back I’ll start breaking down the ladder and tell, “All finished! That wasn’t as bad as it looked!” :innocent:

My dad owned a granite shop. the granite should be 3 cm which would most likely be good to stand on if it’s obviously not near the overhang or the rail on near the sink. I’m not sure how I’d feel about the ladder on the counter though…

depends on the granite if it’ an exotic it will break easily if you’re carrying it flat. Marble is more fragile. dark or black granite is SUPER hard to break. It also depends on whether the granite is 2 or 3 cm. just about all the more recent stuff that’s put in at least here is WA is 3 cm, so it of course is going to be stronger. Granite does not scratch easily, marble does.

I haven’t heard back from the owner so far. Thanks for the info.
