30 inch or larger channel

Yeah I’m no expert with the XL channels but it could just be wavy glass that’s making your life difficult. Solution would be to either apply more pressure and get the whole rubber blade in contact with the surface, or shift your rubber to the upper channel slot if it has one (not sure if the ninja channel does). More exposed rubber will mean less pressure is required for even contact at the glass.

@Samuel you are correct
The ninja has an upper slot to insert the rubber.

I use the Ettore Super Channel 30in daily its my go to beast when I’m running pulls or larger windows.
The weight has never been a issue and its a smooth slide. I have been lately finding I like the “wide body” type of channel over the reg. I don’t know if its cause I use the 30 most days but what ever it is I approve. lol

So how are you liking the longer channel, how much time savings do you think it’s giving you?

Been using the 30 inch ninja app for 2 weeks i love it .
Prior to that always used a 18 inch app now when i go back to using the 18 inch after using the 30 inch app it feels like I’m using a 10 inch app.
just got the 30 inch channel Friday and practiced with it at my house doing some pull work on my patio partitions and i cant wait to get out there tomorrow morning using it on big windows at the store fronts.

How are you re-wetting the applicator ignite that big? Squirt bottle? They don’t have a bucket that big do They?

I think @Majestic66 is lovin his 30" channel and 30" scrubber.

Question on the 30 inch channel
first time using it today on store fronts after a few pulls i noticed the rubber at both ends curled up .
so had to stop and put the rubber back in the slots.
im using the rubber n the 2nd slot the high end right now .
you think there is to much rubber on the ends and should i maybe trim the rubber down on the ends?

Maybe? I’ve never had a rubber pop out of the slot. It’s a bit of personal preference, but most guys seem to like their rubber peeking 2-3 mm past the channel end. Just enough to keep from dinging the glass and frames.

I use my 36" Sorbo for big glass, and hasn’t been a problem for big uppers with a pole. I had to move my rubber up a slot to make it contact wavy glass though… It’s not as good as taking an 18 up there with a step, but it works well enough. I don’t know where to put it…

Which sörbo channel are you using ?

I use a 24", and a 36"; those channels are choice. Oh, to answer your question, the quicksilver with maybe 1/4" hanging off each end. I run the rubber up a notch if I’m using the 36.
