2 claims / policy cancelled

Liberty Mutual, 6 years with the company, I filed 2 claims in 2015
and they won’t renew. The moral of the story is save your claims
for really big stuff

We stand behind you until you need us…then it’s “bye, Felicia”.

what were the size of the claims?

This is true of all insurance. I’ll claim totaling my truck but I won’t claim a windshield. Unless they give me a free one every year.

… One was about 1500, the other about 300.

“You suck at parallel parking… you can either take the bus… or get Liberty Mutual.”

Their commercials are so annoying. And the way they shamelessly plug the statue of liberty in every one.

Yup insurance company’s never lose.
My car insurance canceled me for 3 claims in I think it was 3 years.
No claims in 20 them boom Allstste dropped me. Insurance went up , but now everything is off an back to Allstste

I have one claim with JDW it’s s more than 2500 though. I agree the 300 should of been just taken care of out of pocket

… If you are using JDW for your liability you are insured by Liberty Mutual.

You couldn’t take that out of pocket?.. that’s why they canceled you. I have atleast 3-4 expenses in the $500-$2000 range every year. We plan it into our budget every year regardless.

It is no wonder you got cancelled with such tiny claims. The $300 is the one that killed you. It also depends what the circumstances of the claims were. If the insurance company feels accidents are likely to continue of course they will drop you.

So, do most of you recommend deductibles of over $2,500 ? Thanks for the info on this thread.
