100k earners

This might be a little personal for some of you. but are there any company’s pulling in 100k gross annually? I;m just dreaming of the “what if” possibility’s.

I’ve heard rumor that All County Window Cleaning in New Jersey grosses over $100,000 annually.

I do almost $300,000 however my window cleaning prices aren’t the cheapest in town either, average $96 an hour, average house around $500 and obviously much larger homes much more especially if they have those cut ups… we also started offering some new services along with others, blind cleaning, vip screen cleaning ($5 ea) lights/mirrors, pressure washing (great money) graffiti removal, awning cleaning, sealing and coloring (excellent money) gutter protection and gutter cleaning, gutter whitening, roof cleaning and solar panel cleaning and of course the big dollar item… christmas installation approximately $300 an hour income!

So, simply think about additional services, and above all MARKET LIKE CRAZY there is good money out there. I am looking to double this amount over the next few years hopefully as I recently added awning cleaning and graffiti which needs to be pushed with the county here as this service alone is $90 an hour to removal graffiti - only thing which stops me making money here is the fecking crap weather otherwise I simply use my british charm to win over almost anyone ha ha plus not to mention the competition here is crap compared to us.

I WISH!
Getting close, but its only been 3 years for me.

After 25+ years we we average over $400,000 still trying to break the 500k mark. It’s sounds nice when put down on paper but then I think of all the bills and other crap with what I had to do to get there. I would have to say I charge a high price but low ballers lack the quality I provide. Just can’t wait till everything is paid off.

one man show $95k to $123k with a side kick for several months. I would certainly could add $25k to 30k if I didn’t take most of my hot summers off and go play in Colorado, Cali beaches and or course there is Hawaii area.
All I do is high end residential. Most all is w/cing. My add ons are carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, pressure washing and Sun Screens sales and install (I have a screen company build the screens to my measurements).

Yup, rest assured it is not a dream. You can certainly do it.

I had a $32,000 month near the end of my fourth year in business, if that’s any help to your question.

I’ve heard of guys having almost $50,000 months within 2-3 years.

$100,000 in a year is a personal goal of mine too even in my county of 10,000 population. But my concern is can 1 guy do it with minimal help? I think so and aim to prove it.

Please include how much help you have or how many employees you have to help us keep that number in perspective.

I grossed, and this is gross…$12,000 last year '09. My first year. I’m shooting for $50,000 this year and have $31,000 projected of (can I say it like this?) pretty much for sure guaranteed window cleaning income. Hopefully more comes in.

I’ll add this. Something that took me 6 years in business to learn:

The average rate of inflation is 4%. So increase your prices annually by 4%. That could mean 104,000 this year!

100k Is VERY doable I would look at it like this and go from there:

9 months of work x 20 working days each month = 180 working days a year.

Now how are you going to make that $555.55 a day each and everyone of those days is up to you.

I’ve done it several times with either a very few employees (currently) or way too many employees. That tells me that efficiency, good scheduling, raising prices and weeding out unprofitable accts. and situations make a huge difference. And keeping the crew size as small as possible w/o killing them is good too.
Of course, you still have to actually get the work!
For the great majority of years I’ve grossed over 100K I did it without giving the serious thought to marketing that all of us are finding out about.

well this just got me pumped. I have done back to back 500$ days. just got to get the consistency of pulling that daily. I;m making that my business main goal for now.

I’d reconsider making $ the main goal. Although that is what we are all in business for, our long term success will be derived from “serving” our customers. That must be our primary goal. The $ will follow a close 2nd.

I thought this thread was about making money?

Ha, ha…although $ is the subject of the thread I thought I’d bring some perspective to it anyhow.

When I first broke 100k it was a huge deal! Loaded up the guys and took them on a weekend vacation!!!

IF I CAN DO IT - YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Nice. I think also that once it’s done it is MUCH more easily repeated. Much like a millionaire becomes a millionaire much more easily the 2nd time.

You could really look at that either way though. You certainly won’t make much money by not serving your customers well so in order to make great money you have to provide great service. This still means money is the motivator, and should be!

Started in 1993. Year 1: 9,500 2:51,000 3: 72,000 4: 85,000 year 5 and up till year 17 ( last year ) over 100,000 almost every year. 2009 124,000.
I run two trucks. One person full time year round. Another helper just part time in season. I would have never imagined that was possible when I started back in 93. Now at 49, really just winding down. At least the time I spend at the business and considering selling or letting my key employee run it.

I have noticed it has me listed as a New Member, even though I joined in April 2008. Almost two years ago. Anyone know why ?
