100k a year only on the weekends?

$333.00 a day is conservative. They could do more than that which would more than make up the difference for weather, rescheduled etc. As for sick days he could sub in for the guys on those days and make up the difference. As for partying on the weekends that’s imply a matter of hiring the right people. Just as an example, Bible college students don’t “party”.

Sure there would be challenges and I even said myself it wouldn’t be ideal but that doesn’t mean it’s jot doable. I would say even with the challenges it is still achievable.

Not sure what you mean?

I believe ur response 100‰ correct on the “I’m going to make 15-20k thread”

Wait hold on…is This business a religion? Do you actually hold slaves? If so were do u keep them? How did u acquire them and for price? Dude I’m interested…hook me up!

Yes, but I bet they don’t work Sundays…

Not sure what makes you think that. I worked on Sundays when I went to Bible college and so did all the other students who worked their way through school.

The overall point is not to hire Bible college students but simply to point out that their are people out there who are looking for part time weekend work and who would be dedicated to their job.

I have no idea what your talking about. Apparently you have a wrong concept about what an employee is. Religion clearly has nothing to do with the thread. Mentioning hiring Bible college students doesn’t equate to introducing religion into the picture. Still not sure where your coming from.

Well religions are classified such that they are not required to pay tax. Everything else, 2to3 guys on the payroll adds up quick. Not to mention the price payed for customer acquisition. 100k by ur route is in reality maybe 15k, a giant headache and possibly a coronary.

Please clarify, are you saying the window cleaning business to be set up as a religion to not pay tax? Cuz that doesn’t work

Now you making sense. I never said it was the right approach. I’m not sure of you read the entire thread but I originally said it was not a good idea. I wouldn’t do it myself. I was simply entertaining his idea.

That said your payroll cost is only 36000 + your employee tax per year with 3 guys working 2 days a week for 50 weeks at $15.00 an hr.

As for customer acquisition, if he is selling and promoting the business there are ways to do that without spending any money. You could have a marketing budget of $1000.00 per month as a base and combined with sales, networking, and a good incentive and referral program you could easily hit 100k in sales.

Keep in mind he didn’t set a time parameter on when he hit the 100k mark.

To me it’s not a viable option and there are way better goals to set that are not only easier to obtain but yield a higher profit margin. I would never do what he suggests but for the sake of being friendly I don’t mind entertaining the idea.

Lol…u could do it mount a giant cross, ya know like 4 or 5ft on ur rig like a hood ornament… U got this! Lmk

You could set it up as a non profit organization that raises money for missions. Then you just set yourself up with a salary. I’m not sure if a funding ministry would qualify as non profit but that would be about the only way it might work.

Remember “can’t” is the first word in the process of failure… Shalooki haki Shaka bra

At 15 ur looking at 120 a day tack on burden of way low ball 35%. 162 per person per day. He would pull possible 50‰…I see 50k disappearing in operating expense advertising and taxes in 4 maybe 5 months…knew plan stan

Wasn’t me but I know how he feels. At the moment I am scheduled 6 days a week from April until the end of July and still need to finish contacting the remaining clients. Just got back from doing estimates… global warming I guess. Don’t get around here to often anymore unless called out. Hope everyone is doing well.

Its good to see you around.

That’s what I said. 3 guys at 120.00per day 50 weeks out of the year is 36,000. If he gets more that means he is more experienced and can produce more a day so if he is worth say 20.00 and hour he should at least average $400.00 a day which is $160.00 for 8 hrs. and now our 3 guys are producing $120,000.00 a year! Thanks for the upgrade!

Now revenue after payroll (not including factoring employee tax) is $72,000.00. If we take out 32,000 for operation expense and advertising were left with $40,000.00 which isn’t bad for a weekend business. Keep in mind he is drawing his salary from his other week day job.

Ah jaysus lads we ve doing it all wrong here the whole time.I’m filing the business as a religion from this day forth! The local priest is going to quaking in his boots.
Anyone know if the four horsemen are any good at fanning?!!
