$100,000

I want to make $100,000 this year I did a little less than half that this year what would you guys suggest to do? I was thinking of putting out 4000 Fliers a Month. And im making out business refurall cards to give to my customers this year. they simply write their name on it and give it to a friend or family member. When i recieve the card and the job is done i take 10% off the customers next cleaning. What do you guys think?

I saw a discussion on a referral program that Brian Welker uses. Not sure of all the details but it was a 3 and free set up. I think it was when they refer 3 friends who have you do work for them their next service is free.

couple of things to consider.

Look a at your pricing can you raise it a little bit?

for simplicity say you made your 50,000 on a $200 average ticket if you raised your prices to $220 on average that’s an extra 5k. So look at the pricing

  1. marketing your right more marketing should = more $ but be smart bad marketing can ruin you, so join the wcra

One thing I’m thinking of doing to gain a lot more referrals is “Don’t be jealous” postcards to canvass the immediate area of residential jobs with.

Also, I have a referral program that for every $100 the referral spends, I give the referrer $10 off their next cleaning, actually works well too!

I’m looking to have a $100k (if not close to it) year as well.

I think customers respond better to this when it comes to referrals:

  1. Immediate benefits
  2. Face to face asking pressure

I think bumblebee has some type of system that he says gets him more than three referrals per client! Let’s get him to spill his secrets!

Get more, charge more and join WCRA.

Raise your prices by about 4% every year. That’s the average rate of inflation.

at least

How did you make you first 50k? What advertising?

Do you think you could put out more than 4,000 fliers a month?

How many fliers do you think it would take Chris?

I’m shooting for 200k my second full year in business, which will be April 2012-April 2013. I’m going to have to market like crazy

Wow Larry, Thats a huge goal for your second year. I hope you get there. I am also in my second year and I am shooting for $50,000. That’s a little more than double my first year. Maybe I’ll bump that up to $75,000. You make me feel like I’m shooting too low. Do you have employee’s yet? I’d guess you’d need a few to reach that goal.

Not yet but probably will in march. We can get 800-1,000 done in a day no problem. Just a matter of getting the jobs. I’m going to be freed up more for selling and my partners wife is planning to help with the phones/office work. Exciting

There is a app in the wcra that you can plug different #'s in like how much you want to make avg job price, etc

I could prob start putting out 8000 a month but for some reason it scares me to put out that much money. That being said i know i need to man up and just do it. Chris man you inspire me and im sure many others here also. what you have done is amazing and you should be very proud of yourself not only for your success but also putting food on the table for all your workers to me thats gota be the greatest reward. RUN I just had alot of word of mouth and started to dabble in the direct mailing.

Thats awesome Larry!

How many folks is gonna take to accomplish that do you think? Workers that is…

Shoot for $400k. When you hit $200k it will be a consolation prize. The following year aim for $600k - I bet you’ll hit $500k because you’ll be better prepared and hate the thought of not making your goal.

My goals every year come with something specific in mind I want to reward myself. If I don’t make it - I don’t get it and I hate myself all winter.
