Well I’ve lurked on here long enough. Love the site and the forums, this place really has come a long way. I used to frequent this site back when it first started taking off. Got lost for a few years, but back and really looking forward to gaining some new perspectives and ideas from the business.
I’ve cleaned windows for about 10 years now, started when I was 18 and now 28. I’ve worked for 3 different window cleaners in the time, always just been an employee. I’ve had my fair share of side jobs, and enjoy the business a ton. I do commercial and residential. I have gained much experience through jobs, but I do always find myself “learning something new” all the time. I can stick pretty well, and I have a love/hate relationship with a Tucker pole. Yes, I use Dawn dish soap for my traditional window cleaning (Don’t throw me in the pit just yet!).
Anyway, hope to read and post with you all in the future. Hopefully we can teach one another something! There’s enough glass out there for everybody
awww man, you are in the right place. this forum is like HGH for your business. btw, plenty of stud window cleaners still crush it with dawn. and you need to ditch that tucker pole yesterday. a decent carbon fiber pole will change your life.
