XERO PURE Setup Instructions


Congratulations on your purchase of the Xero Pure! Your Xero Pure should be wrapped up nicely when you receive it, this being an extra measure to make sure that it is well protected during transit.

What’s inside?

  • Carbon Sediment Filter
  • Bags with the following:

- Interconnect Hoses (Black and Red)
- Magic Lube
- TDS Meter
- RO Protect
- 50 Feet of 3/8” hose
- Large and Small Filter Wrench
- Stainless Steel Axle
- 2 Spacers
- 2 Wheels
- 2 Caps
- Hardware – 4 long bolts, 4 short bolts, 4 nuts, 8 washers
- Handle – Usually wrapped in cardboard underneath the Xero Pure
- Secondary empty DI cartridge for backup

Assembly:

1. PUT THE WHEELS ON (ALL YOU WILL NEED IS A HAMMER)

  • Put one cap on one side of the steel axle and hammer on tight
  • Follow-up with the wheel
  • Follow-up with the spacer
  • Slide it in the hole for the axle on the system
  • With one wheel in, tip the system toward you
  • Now do the second spacer
  • Follow-up with the wheel
  • Follow-up with the cap and hammer on firmly
  • With the wheels on, stand the unit up

2. INSTALL THE HANDLE

  • You will need 2 long bolts, 2 nuts, 4 washers
  • Tighten both by hand and with the wrenches

3. CARBON FILTER

  • You will need 2 short bolts, 2 nuts, 4 washers
  • The carbon filter goes directly under the handle

 WITH STEPS 1, 2 AND 3 DONE, YOU’RE READY TO GO!

The filters come already in the housings. Now it’s time to hook up the hoses and get to work.

4. Remove the plugs on both bottom ends of the DI Cartridge

Sediment Carbon Filter > RO Membrane > DI

  • Connect the Black Tube to the outlet (large gray valve) of the RO Membrane to the inlet side of the DI Cartridge
  • Connect the Yellow Hose to the Outlet of the DI Cartridge
  • Connect the Red Tube to the brass fitting at the very bottom of the RO that points straight down. This is for the Waste Water and allow water to run away from the system
