Work Belt Setup (for the newbies)

I like the traditional gear for storefronts.

Ya me too, but if I had a route like you do with all those cut ups ā€¦ I would find a way to implement WFP.

I donā€™t think there are as many cut ups on my routes as you imagine. Lot of doors with cut ups because itā€™s New England but mostly Itā€™s plate glass windows like everywhere else. Standard gear all day every day. KISS :sunglasses:

Thanks for sharing the pic of your setup(s).

You should add a description of what you carry to the pic, so future people have an idea what you carry.

Yeah. Finally got some belt stuff. New stuff includes some Wagtails, Ettoreā€™ Contour Pro, Belts, Pouches, BOAB and Ettoreā€™ Back Flip. Quite happy.

Thanks for sharing your Workbelt setup.

2018 is here! Add any pics of your Workbelt setup, especially if you added new items or stream lined your setup for this year.

We would love to see all the new forum members setups.

I will soon take a picture of my work belt and post it here.
Just a question to you guys: I have used the Ettore loop belt for a long time now but Iā€™m curious to change to the Ergotec Belt. Seems more comfortable. What do you think? Any experience?

The Tuff belt is the toughest belt and will last forever.

AWP from Lowes has the same type of belt (padded & Velcro sections for any type of body style ) and its under 20.00. thats what we use and it fits a ton of holders on it and clips.

Looking forward to see your belt my friend.
I have the ergotech belt, but I prefer a buckle (spƤnne) that you can adjust.
Like if you have a jacket or just a t-shirt, you can adjust it to fit.

This was my belt setup this morning for route work.
Changed to Ergotec belt (but with my own work suspenders) because it was tiring to have the nylon belt squeezed in to my stomach.
I will get a electrician tool pouch to have my brush, screwdriver and minipole with me on the residential side.
Like to have the scrim between my body and suspenders (never gets very wet).

I agree with your thought. Have you then modified the belt to have a buckle?

No, I donā€™t use the ergo tech belt. I use the wƶrks belt. And that belt has that type of buckle, but itā€™s starting to wear out now.
So soon I will be changed to the ergo belt and I I will try modified it like you said.
Nice belt btw, looks comfy with suspendersšŸ˜Š
Sorbo with ninja handlešŸ‘ Love that for storefronts!

@JonathanB Thanks for sharing a pic of route belt setup with everyone.

Showing the 18", 12" squeegees on the belt but will be carrying only one needed for given job.
The 10" cheapo squeegee is for sills. (may cut that one down to 6" soon)

Top pouch for clean towels.
Second pouch from top is for bottlesā€¦ solution, water, s+w mix in big bottle with pop cap.
Bottom pouch for 4" scraper and abrasive pads, etc.

Squeegees in the small sleeves on sides of pouches, and the sill squeegee in one of the hammer hoops.
I have another hammer hoop for the wet sill towel that will be on other side near the B.O.A.B (not shown)

Paint brush for sills, paint can opener for screens, and extra scraper blades in the small pockets.
